Adam's Story
It has truly been the toughest time of my life...
I think we all go through hard times at some point in life… In fact, Jesus says in John 16:33 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” During the last few years, I have to admit I have definitely known these troubles and it has truly been the toughest time of my life.
What I’ve found is that it’s good to remember Jesus’ words that we will have trouble - it reminds me that it isn’t my fault, that troubles will come and that more importantly we need to ‘take heart’ because he has overcome it all - Hallelujah!
During these troubled times, I can honestly say that God has shown himself to be the true beacon of light, life and comfort that he is and can be to us all. He has shown his never-ending loyal love to me. He has shown me that he has an amazing plan and future for me.
Whenever things are hard I can rest in his loving arms; I’ve known him to uphold me, carry me, cheer me on and above all love me through everything and despite everything. His love never ends and constantly chases after me.
